Quote of the day.

“As soon as you look at the world through an ideology you are finished. No reality fits an ideology. Life is beyond that. … That is why people are always searching for a meaning to life… Meaning is only found when you go beyond meaning. Life only makes sense when you perceive it as mystery and it makes no sense to the conceptualizing mind.” ― Anthony de Mello

What goal do you have for today?

As you navigate your morning, contemplate what you want to achieve today.  Focus on a goal – one goal – and work to make it happen all day.

It doesn’t have to big, but it does have to be important to you.

Was it setting your alarm clock and not hitting snooze?  Will it be not snacking in between meals?  Will it be limited social media time?  Fitting a workout in?

Or will it be spiritual in nature, like finding opportunities to share a smile, genuinely asking how a person is or spreading kindness?  Staying present and not distracted? Listening more, speaking less?  Trying to understand others rather than always wanting others to understand you?

Contemplate it. Name it. Then write it down and make it happen today.
