As I wrap up today and plan for tomorrow, I want to make the time to say – thank you!
One year ago on July 13, 2020, I made the decision to start writing again. I threw away the map, tossed aside the plans and blindly made my way – destination unknown.
What I did know was this:
- I wanted to write every day, any day, whenever it was possible.
- I wanted to make a difference in the lives of others, no matter how big or small.
- I wanted to honor myself, making a commitment to write and dust off the pages of a book started long ago, however long it took.
And here we are today – July 13, 2021 – with more than 5000 followers between this blog and the Elephant Journal.
May it have resonated. May it have been of benefit. May it continue to be.
There are so many lessons I’ve learned and so many to come.
I’ve met lovers and haters, friends and foes. As it goes.
I’ve built an army of support and a mass of enemies. As it goes.
But we’re here – you and me – and I’m just warming up.
So – thank you!
Thank you for reading. Thank you for following. Thank you for everything you are and everything you want to be.
As the saying goes, “Grow old with me. The best is yet to be.”
