Every year we say, “Never forget.” This year I ask, “Have you forgotten?”
9/11. Enough said.
That date is etched in our memory – and our hearts.
2976* human beings murdered. People like you and me. People who had plans that evening. People who had families, friends and loved ones. People who never expected to die that day in such a horrific and brutal manner.
How could our administration pull out of Afghanistan in such a careless way? How could we leave behind Americans and those who helped us during the near twenty year fight?
Twenty years for what?
Selfless military heroes who sacrificed their lives. Dead. Handicapped. Scarred mentally and emotionally.
For what? For what, I ask again?
Sending troops to a country infiltrated with terrorists and innocents. Innocents who depended on the U.S. to help them. We made a commitment to do so. We showed them a better way. What a tease. We gave them hope, confidence and promise. Then we abandoned them. We fell short. Way short.
Yes, we should have left Afghanistan. No one would disagree. That’s a fact.
But like a relationship, you can end it on good terms or burn a bridge that can never be rebuilt.
Congratulations – job well done. We now come with a warning label.
Why would anyone trust the U.S.? Why would anyone believe in what this country has to say – or rather what you and your administration has to say?
President Biden pulled out our military – then sent them back. He rescued anyone. No plan, No strategy, just mass chaos. But he abandoned some Americans and our allies as well as innocent women and children.
No one left behind. Ha. What empty words. Just stop.
To you, 13 military personnel may have been a minimal loss when reading words from your teleprompter – or saying what you’ve been instructed to say and taking questions from the list you’ve been given.
Thirteen sons and daughters, mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers, nieces and nephews, cousins, colleagues, friends and neighbors. Thirteen men and women who will never see their loved ones again.
Murdered, just like those on 9/11. People like you and me, just like those on 9/11. People who had plans that evening, just like 9/11.
But unlike the people who never expected to die that day, they were well aware that they may not make it home, just like the firefighters, cops and first responders on 9/11. God rest their souls.
The Afghanistan occupation cost more than 170,000 lives* and ended with a complete takeover of the country by the adversary the U.S. military spent two decades fighting.
Now you, Mr. President, are looking to reason with the Taliban. Talk to them. Negotiate – while Americans are being held hostage on the tarmac, praying to get home safely.
Yet your administration is concerned that the Taliban isn’t inclusive. Really? A group who is hell bent on killing Americans and destroying America and you’re concerned with the inclusivity of their ‘new’ government?
Please claim insanity. It would bring our country more comfort to know that you are indeed in the early or mid-stage of Alzheimer’s than to know you are making these remarks and decisions with a sound mind.
Never forget.
Dear Mr. President, have you forgotten?
Mr. President, do you really believe we can reason with a psyche that plotted to and successfully took down our World Trade Towers? Crashed into our Pentagon and then headed to our White House before some rock solid Americans united to take back that plane, losing their lives in an attempt to save our country?
What are you smoking?
And where is your administration? Campaigning for Gavin Newsom? What have any of you done aside from campaign and fundraise in an attempt to rule the country – while destroying it?
It seems to me that your team only cares about power and control, busy brainwashing those who don’t make the time to think.
You’re all convincing to some, but nothing but a disgrace to most.
Tell me. I have a conspiracy theory of my own.
Who is holding you hostage? Are you trying to give hints to us while televised so that we come to rescue you? Do you need our help?
Who are you taking direction and instructions from? Who is guilty of elder abuse and subjecting you to this? Are you being drugged?
Is Obama really the head of the Taliban and this has been brilliantly orchestrated over several years to bring down our country – and arm the enemy? You had no problem leaving our Americans behind – and our allies – and willingly armed those who want to kill us with weapons of mass destruction.
Mr. President, I’m struggling here.
Respectfully, you and your administration are a joke. You are doing nothing more than inciting hate, perpetuating racism and breaking down our country day by day.
ACO is more concerned with menstruating persons than the three branches of our government. Does she even know about those? Is she up to speed on the Constitution or our Amendments?
Black lives matter. Climate change. Anti-abortion. Open borders. Woke America.
How about uniting our country – not dividing it? A novel thought, I know, but you should consider it.
9/11/2021. The twenty year anniversary and the Taliban will be dancing on our graves, toasting our stupidity and proclaiming victory, laughing at the U.S.
Congratulations, Mr. President. You’ve succeeded in humiliating our country on the world stage and have blood on your hands. You play a vital role in the destruction of our country.
We can’t let you. We won’t let you.
