Tip of the day.

Turn signals. Such a basic rule of the road that’s often ignored, forgotten or disregarded.

Riding down the street today, the car in front of me put the directional on – as they were turning into their driveway. Not before. Not at the entry point. But while making the turn.

Yesterday, the car in front of me put the right directional on – then made a hard left turn. Accident avoided.

It seems that we are all so preoccupied these days that we neglect these small yet critical actions that can keep us safe.

Get in that car, put that seat belt on and drive. No cell phone. No texting. No putting on make-up or electric shaving.

And when you’re considering a turn, put that directional on with ample notice. Share that road and let us show common courtesy to our fellow drivers.
