What is your one hope for today?

Some weeks are more challenging than others and some feel like a month’s worth of work is tucked into five days!  This is not a complaint.  When I catch myself feeling stressed, exhausted or frustrated, I step back and take a moment to look for the silver lining.  Sometimes it shines brightly and other times, I have to take an inventory and seek it out.

If we practice mindfulness, we can prevent fires before they start and quell the burnout.  It is so easy to fall into a trap of negativity which in turn impacts your mood then infects those you interact with.  You are paying it forward – but at a hefty price and not in a positive way!

My hope today is that those who have lost their jobs due to COVID-19, find employment and are able to ensure food is on their table, a roof is over their head and everyone in their care is healthy, safe and warm this winter.

What is your one hope for today?
