Thanksgiving is upon us and I realize that I have been submitting many articles to various publications – yet somewhat remiss on my goal of posting more regularly here on the blog. Time to revisit that goal and make it stick! We’re all works in progress, aren’t we?
This is a very different year, one we couldn’t have foreseen or even imagined, but here we are amidst the pandemic. Still. And everyone is making the best of it in any and every way they can.
Limited gatherings. Safety precautions. Ban on travel. Restrictions. However, there is one thing that can’t be restricted – and those are the blessings we can count.
No matter how bleak our current circumstances or situation – and many are suffering greatly during this time – there is always something to be thankful for. It may just be that we awoke today and are given the opportunity to try again. And that’s pretty darned special.
As the week moves on, count your blessings and give thanks. If you can’t count them, then be them – be a blessing to others and gift them with your light to help them find their way through their own darkness.
As I count mine, there you are. For those who faithfully follow the blog and the Facebook page or my articles on The Elephant Journal, thank you. Thank you for being a part of my world and an inspiration to me. To make a difference in the life of just one other is all that matters.
Wishing you a healthy and happy Thanksgiving.
