Jen Psaki, how could you promote the current administration’s agenda, comparing January 6, 2021 to Pearl Harbor and 9/11, then stating that past President Trump should focus on what we can do for the future – not the past?
You’re using the past, to your benefit.
You actually took two vile, tragic, murderous days and compared them to one event gone awry due to individuals who chose to act inexcusably.
The President at that time – there is no need to mention his name – did not incite a riot or an insurrection.
He clearly stated that people were welcomed to peacefully move toward the Capitol and let their voices be heard. It’s not on him or anyone else that they – whoever they were – chose to act like animals.
This administration is using anyone and everyone, anything and everything, to promote their agenda. Whatever that may be.
It’s like high school. Bullies. Individuals who slander one to win the favor of another.
Thankfully, most of us usually outgrow high school and the behavior that can sometimes accompany it.
Can we outgrow this?
Shame on you – all of you – Mr. President, Madam Harris, and Angry Psaki. I don’t yet have any words to describe you, Psaki.
Maybe angry, defensive and repulsive? Maybe a woman who is thrilled with the position, but less than happy with what is being required of you?
January 6, 2021 was upsetting – but, it was nothing more than that.
Pearl Harbor – I’m the grandchild of a Pearl Harbor Survivor. The grandchild of a man who loved our country and sacrificed with his comrades for it. There is NO comparison.
9/11 – I’m the daughter of a firefighter. The daughter of a man who helped sort through the rubble that contained the remains of each and every body engulfed in the World Trade Towers massacre with his comrades. The daughter of a man who attended almost all of the funerals in NYC, countless lives murdered by terrorists who hate us that much. There is NO comparison.
Really? January 6, 2021 – really?
I fear that this administration wouldn’t know what to do if they were faced with an actual crisis – a Pearl Harbor, a 9/11.
May the higher powers that be ensure that doesn’t happen. Because I fear this administration would sell America to survive.
